Plantar fasciitis refers to pain and swelling at the base of the foot and is a very common injury. Whilst there are many reasons people develop this pain, the main causes are weakness and foot mechanics... including your foot posture and gait cycle.
As this is a common injury, there is a plethora of advice online about ways to combat this injury- however people seem to focus on insoles and “rolling out” their feet with ice... whilst these are DEFINITELY helpful in reducing the pain, they are not long term solutions...
