The glutes are a group of three muscles in the hip which combine to make up one of the most powerful structures in the body. These muscles are imperative to preventing injury, from knee injury to lower back pain to foot pain.
With an increase of people working from home and spending more time sat down, this inevitably leads to compensation strategies where the glute muscles become lazy and stop activating.
⚠️ The glutes control all travelling movement of the body and so it is imperative we strengthen these muscles and activate them as much as we can! The below circuit is ideal for those that are aware they are unfortunately stuck in a sedentary routine, OR for those that are still able to frequently exercise- particularly those that are running! 🏃🏼♀️ ‼️Have a go in the morning, in a break during your work day or even as a warm up before exercise!‼️
